Pastor Hetsberger was born to Ulric and Claire Hetsberger in beautiful Georgetown, Guyana. He left Guyana at the age of eight, and moved to sunny Barbados and graduated from Louis Lynch High School at the age of fifteen. It was in Barbados, he gave his heart to God and was baptized. Pastor Hetsberger then moved to Maryland and pursued a degree in Business Finance. It was at the age of seventeen, he felt the call of God upon his life to become a minister and promptly changed his major to theology, at the Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University). He matriculated at the famed Oakwood University for a year and returned to Columbia Union College to finish his degree in theology and continued his academic growth at Andrews University, completing his Masters of Divinity in 2005. Pastor Hetsberger has had the honor to serve as conference director in the departments of Community Service, Stewardship, Family Life and Personal Ministries in the Bermuda Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Pastor Hetsberger is happily married to the love of his life, Ruth Barnum. She is a distinguished educator. They are parents of twin daughters, Elizabeth and Grace.
